There's more than just flash and fun in Bayan Mo iPatrol Mo’s event this December!  A showdown of glee clubs,  each composed of 10-15 members, BMPM’s “Pasko ng Pagbabago: Saya para sa Kapwa” contest allows young contestants to work with BMPM and ABS-CBN in developing their communities.

Aside from cash prizes, winning contestants' beneficiaries will receive aid from ABS-CBN. (Beneficiaries should focus on urgent issues such as additional health centers and classrooms, potable drinking water, and other similar needs.)

This event will showcase five choral groups: Chorus Vocales, Philippine Tesalonica, Catholic Youth Organization Unit 26 Chorale, Chorus Leviticus and GIST Cogeo Glee Club. Each group will compete on behalf of their respective beneficiaries.

The Grand Finals will be on December 9, 2011 (Friday) at the Dolphy Theater, ABS-CBN Compound, Quezon City, from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The contest shall be judged by stage actress Ms. Isay Alvarez, singer Ms. Frenchie Dy, and UST Koro Tomasino conductor Mr. Ronan Ferrer.

The grand winner will get P30,000, plus the wish of their beneficiary. The second place winner will receive P20,000 and the third-placer, P15,000.

Pilipinas Got Talent Grand winner Maasinhon Trio will deliver their rendition of Lupang Hinirang, while Nyoy Volante, Happy Feet and Kasibulan will also perform special numbers.

Hosting the contest are Atom Araullo of ABS-CBN News and DJ Raki of Tambayan 101.9 FM.
